Please join us for our first-ever Today, I'm Brave Speaker Series featuring five incredibly inspiring individuals who will address the theme: You're Braver Than You Think.
Each of the speakers will share with you a unique story about what it meant for them to face their greatest fears and live bravely. Our hope is that by hearing their stories, it'll empower you to go out and face your fears so that you too can create positive change in your life. Proceeds go to 62 children who were orphaned by the Ebola crisis in Sierra Leone so they can receive food, healthcare and a greater education.
Refreshments and highly inspirational soundbytes will be provided.

A Chicago native, Leo Flowers quickly worked his way into major comedy clubs and colleges across the country. His delivery has been described as “smooth and deliberate.” No two shows are ever alike, as he’s always attacking the issues of the day and revealing
personal anecdotes. Infusing stand up with storytelling, Flowers captivates audiences of all demographics.
Recently, Flowers appeared on Comics Unleashed with Byron Allen, was a runner-up in the San Francisco International Comedy Competition, and was a finalist in the 2011 Stand Up for Diversity competition. He has toured on the Shaved and Depraved Comedy Tour, and hosted both MTV’s “Sports Blender” and Starz “Staan’ ‘Dup," and was featured on "Last Call from Carson Daly," on NBC.
Ryan Blair is a New York Times bestselling author, self-made multimillionaire and serial entrepreneur who established his first company when he was 21 and has since created and invested in multiple start-ups. Formerly the CEO of global healthy lifestyle company, ViSalus, Blair is now the founder of HashTagOne, a fast growing venture capital firm.
Blair’s first book, Nothing To Lose, Everything To Gain: How I Went From Gang Member To Multimillionaire Entrepreneur, became a best seller in 2013. Uncensored and raw in his account of growing up in the face of adversity, the book shares a road map for entrepreneurial success through the process of reinvention.

An American Advertising Federation Hall of Achievement inductee, David has consistently challenged convention by developing highly innovative and effective advertising solutions for a diverse list of marketers, both large and small.
These include Kia Motors, Coca-Cola, Lexus, Michelin, Reebok, NFL, Bacardi, Little Caesars, Jack In The Box, Universal Studios, among others. He started his career in 1989 at DDB New York, later served as VP/ACD at TBWA\Chiat \Day New York, and eventually joined Cliff Freeman & Partners as EVP, executive creative director. Over the years, David has garnered more than 400 of the industry’s most prestigious awards, including Cannes Lions, The One Show Pencils, Clios, Effie Awards, and LA’s Entrepreneur of the Year.
In 1999, he founded David&Goliath on the belief that he could create a very distinct and different agency culture capable of taking on the toughest marketing goliaths out there. That no matter how big or small you are, we all have goliaths that keep us from realizing our true potential. The key is to be inspiring. To be relentless. Garrain always knew he was meant to do something big, but he didn’t know what that was. He had a lot of pride, ego and excuses. This attitude lead to a life with no purpose or direction.
